That thing looks like a beast. I think I like that. Didn't get mine today though Looks like I'll have to wait till Monday. Oh well. Did you test the alarm out? How sensitive is it?

I got a new alarm for my Vespa, Harley, and Hummer. Her name is Smith and Wesson. She offers 357 motives to stay away from my stuff.
Works so far. G |

I just picked up a Master Lock Python locking steel cable for my scooter and so far it seems good. It's very easy to use (it's almost infinitely adjustable and the locking part swivels) and I got one long enough to put through both sides of the cover. It was under $30 at Lowes and fits under the seat when not in use.

Pat wrote: Wow! Sorry to hear about your scoots. I would try a cover like Judy recommended. Is there anything you could electrically hook up so when someone touches it, it sends a sharp shock Powered by your 12 vdc scoot battery Produces 50,000 volts Connect red output terminal to scooter frame Connect the other terminal (black) to a wire with a clip lead on one end. Connect clip lead to a large nail pushed into the ground or connect to the metal pipe (parking meter pole etc) you use to chain up the scooter. Turn it on and watch the fun. It won't kill them but they will feel it for sure. You can attach a remote for turning on and off like this one. http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/RC-10/KEYCHAIN-REMOTE-CONTROL-12VDC-6-AMP/-/1.html You might want to hang one or two of these on the Scoot. |

Got mine today! I like it. My chain definitely snug on the u-bar but I didn't have to fight with it to get the link on. I'm pumped.

So I set off the alarm by accident twice last night It's not that loud to be honest. But I'm pleased with how sensitive it is. Doesn't take much to get it going. Definitely not earplug worthy though (maybe my battery is weak?). Set yours off too and let me know!
Definitely satisfied overall though - it's a beast of a lock which will call attention to itself when disturbed. I like that. |

The size is intimidating. Lets see how the boston thieves like your apples now?? |
