Today was a beautiful scooter day in Denver, however I just felt like driving the car. I've put less than 1000 miles on it in the past 2 years (11k total) and thought the Vespa wouldn't mind. (4800 miles in the past year!)

Denver skyline in the background with the Rockies looking West.

I just felt guilty!

Does that have the pop-up headlights? 'cuz I've given up on Corvettes that don't. It just seems wrong and backwards.

It's very nice. Yellow! I'm sure it gets you noticed a lot.

The earlier cars above had exposed lamps but most of us don't remember seeing them. They were pop up since 63, so for many of us ,Corvettes have always had them during our lifetime

The race cars had fixed lights to not only save weight but also to avoid any mechanical issues during a race.

The newest version uses fixed for the weight benefit, but also styling. I like the new look in the front, but the back is dare I say,"butt" ugly!

For those who weren't born the last time a Corvette had fixed lights, it does seem hard to except.

Porsche' has not changed the style of their lights since the mid-1950's.

Tradition is hard to let go

I love Vespa's but love Corvettes, or any muscle car for that matter!
