So me and a few club members are off to Italy next year to take our scoots back to the Piaggio factory to demand our money back (jokin )
and we were wondering a few things.

1. would it be advisable to change jets for altitude riding? We all live at see level normally but will be going over the Alps during the trip. Is is necessery to change jets for the mountains?

2. Switzerland??? is it true that we may be refused entry into Switzerland because of our expanion pipes? can they throw us our if we make too much noise / smokage? Iknow thet dont like sports cars very much but what about sports pipes?

Christos. I just read Switzerland was heading in the same direction as Iceland.

So, theoretically, they soon won't be able to afford police. That should solve your problem.

Other than that...Jealous.

Christos-

In the Dolomites this past Aug, we went over passes up to 2,100 meters. No problems. The engine runs a very slight bit dodgey due to rich mixture, but not enough to concern you. Both the PX and the Yesterday performed well. No evidence of plug fouling due to rich mixture. You just aren't at altitude long enough to worry about it. You are crossing the Alps, not riding around continuously at the tops of them.
