Modern Vespa

Last Friday was my birthday and my wife got me the coocase topcase I wanted. It was a pain in the rear to install and my first project on my 2009 BV500. Thanks to Carrerinc for his help.

And my scoot is filthy. I got stuck in the rain because my wife's car broke down and I was getting it towed to the dealer.

haha Thanks. I wasn't aware of that rule.

Actually it is a Coocase Luxury so it has the brake lights already built in, keyless unlock/lock and an alarm.

Finding how to route the wiring without it looking hokey took me awhile. I had to drill a hole in the GIVI plate I bought and inserted a rubber grommet to run the wires into my rack. I then drilled a hole from my rack and into the plastic cover that goes over the battery and wired the top case to the battery there. I then pulled out the brake light and ran a wire from the brake light to the battery compartment and wired that in there. You can't see any wiring unless you really look under the case.

I am very happy with the case it is very nice.

Case looks good, now get your wife to clean your scoot for you. hahahaha!!!! My wife would think - . looks great.

Thanks she doesn't even wash her own car haha. Her car looks pretty clean in the picture because I broke down and washed it I couldn't stand driving it dirty anymore.
