Due to my recent concerens over oil (see https://modernvespa.com/forum/topic36632?sid=8a730929d9fea59c02e476bf7f299651), I have noticed that sometimes after I screw in the dipstick and take it out to read it again one side will say MAX and the other side will read no oil at all. Anyone else have this problem? Should I fill it to MAX on both sides?

I don't know why it does this. This may seem strange but if you leave it in for a little longer it will show on both sides. Does on mine anyway.

the dip sticks were posted with the wrong marks in the owners book and should be a mark higher and you need to check it when the scooter is flat not on the service stand I dont think it makes a big difference but the size of the oil pan area is able to hold a little extra oil
