Why ain't I gettin' no e-mail notifications?, I wondered.

Could be because I screwed th' pooch and got a typo in my e-mail address when registering, leaving one character out...

Mods, cain you he'p me now?

just go to profile and change your e-mail address

Just hit the Profile link at the top of the page, and you should be able to edit your email address.

Ah, some sort of closed-loop brain-lock between the chair and the keyboard going on here:

I straighten out the e-mail address and enter my current password. This gets me a "The current password you supplied does not match that stored in the database." error...

As a test, I then enter my current password with the incorrect e-mail address unchanged: that combo is accepted.

So correcting the e-mail address results in a mismatch error when the new address is checked against the password of record...

Can't get any variants of entries & combos to work, either.

Be gentle; bear in mind that I am often defeated by Ikea furniture, too...

now is repeating the same behavior while expecting different results the test for insanity or senile dementia...?
