I'm looking into buying a 2007 Vespa GTS 250. I'm a fairly heavy man. I'm 6 feet and 350 lbs. Will this vespa be the right scooter for me? Will it carry my bulk around without breaking down? I want to but this scooter, the owner wants to sell it for $4,000 and it is in great shape, a real bargain! Please, will someone let me know it's OK for me to buy this scooter or should I buy a Japanese maxi-scooter?

I have a GT 200 and my partner weighs 350 lbs and it pulls him. I can't imagine that yours wouldn't pull you.

However, I wouldn't get a bunch of ideas about riding 2up.

Thanks for your replies
Thanks, for your help. I've always loved to own a vespa, and I'm tired of being carless for the last 2 1/2 years. So, I'm going to buy that scooter and live the life.

Again, thanks for all your help.
