Modern Vespa

there once was a cager named Beaver
Said, wassup with all this scooter fever?
He test drove a mile
came back with huge smile
and now is a vespa Believer

He went home to chat up his spouse
a nice gal as meek as a mouse
he said to his wife
this will spice up our life
and not second mortage the house

they looked up the Lx50
she said that would be quite nifty
now choosing that bike
as the one they would like
they leaned toward the idea of "thrifty"

The logged on to get advice from Jess
asked which vespa model was best?
in Jess you must trust
and leave the lx in the dust
you all know that he rides GTS !

They went to the dealer named ED
their hunger for vespas t'be fed
Beave' liked midnight blue
Ed said better take two
Cause the lady's in love with Dragon Red

so Beaver, He rides with his wife
they now have a wonderful life
they rock red and blue
on vespas for two
and feel none of that ol' cager strife!

That's much harder (if I don't use the obvious word that rhymes) and I'm no poet.

Ha! Good One. I lived in NJ for 20some years and forgot how cold Fall can get. We're having our warm season now in San Francisco.

This may not be a limerick, but I saw it awhile back, maybe on this site:

I smile whenever I'm reminded of it.
