Hi. I'm a 17 year old student and i've been riding my PK80 to and from college for the last few months. I enjoy riding the scooter but would like to upgrade to a scooter with a bit more power.

Due to UK law the scooter must be 125cc or under. (as i've yet to pass my bike test.)

I'm totally inexperienced when it comes to scooters, so any advice is very much appreciated.

Buy a T5 if you can find it.

Or try to find a used PK125 engine, and throw that in your existing PK80 frame.

( i would say kit the 80, but you'll probably have to deal with gearing issues )

Agree with eric, try to get hold of a T5 , they also have the benefit of having ehough HP to allow to to take your test and not have to ride a restricted scooter ( not too sure of the exact rules) but the T5 is the only 125 scooter to allow you to do this

T5's are quite easy(ish) to pick up if you keep your eyes peeled, but you may have a bit of trouble with where your situated.

As well as scooter trader, have a look at some forums like Beedspeed and Scooterboy World there's one going on scooterboy world at the moment

nice t5
