Where exactly do the underbody clips clip onto? Please, someone who can help me out quick. Trying to do it right now!

I'm not going to be any help at all here, but had a question: where did you get your Thermoscud? Did you import it directly, or is there a shop here in the U.S. that carries them?
I'll also be interested to hear your review once you have it installed! Hope someone has your answer. |

I got mine through MV last year, a very wonderful member organized the whole thing, collected the money and got them shipped from Italy.

you can attach the underside clips to any convenient opening in the bodywork. if there's only one underside clip, make sure you attach it somewhere reasonably central. if there are two, make sure they're more or less symmetrical. then make sure you pull all the straps good and tight and half-hitch any dangling ends.

Look underneath the legshield behind the front wheel on the bottom you'll see places along the edge of the metal where you can attach the clips. They just hook onto the edge, then the straps can be pulled tight.
I've not attached mine yet this year, though a couple of mornings at 6:00 am on my way to work, my legs got pretty cold. Northern California is still pretty mild this time of year, so I'm trying to tough it out as long as possible. Also, I've been in denial since I learned by reading threads in the German Vespa forum that Thermoscud and other scooter aprons are called "Retirees Blankets" |

Where did the summer go?
You can always tell winter is upon us when the talk turns to Termoscud. |

Well, I attached it before I saw these posts. I did attach it to a sort of open spot underneath, it just doesn't really clip INto anything, they just sit there. Hopefully they hold. Thanks.
Also, I doubt I'll EVER be able to retire at this point, (even if I were close to that age), but in Michigan.., cold is cold and I could care less if my reputation is in question or my age! |

Yeah you're right. The clips don't really clip into anything, they just hook onto the frame with the tension from the straps to keep them there.

Darn right. I can't even get mine to come to a local rally, although for some reason she was willing to go to San Francisco last month.
