Modern Vespa

I'm going to need some books / manuals for working on my P200 this winter. Mainly becuase I don't really know what I'm doing, but I also need some new crapper reading.

Is there a Vespa Service Manual for the P200?

What about "How To Restore and Maintain.."

Haynes?

Which is best, or which combo is best?

There is a Hayne's book.It covers a few models including the P200. it's decent but I'm sure there are better books out there.

I have yet to find one book that covers any one Vespa well. They all have some useful information and many Vespas are similar. I probably own most of the books. When I get stuck, I post a question either here or on the BBS and usually get help. Most people are very generous their knowlege. I wish I had a better answer.

Get the both the Haynes manual and How to Restore and Maintain.

I'm in the same boat. I heard the Haynes is the best one to get. I read the reviews on "How to restore an maintain..." on amazon - it didn't seem all too helpful. I have an order for the Haynes manual, I should get it this week.

i have "how to restore your" .... and it's a turd. There's very little technical info in there, and more generic advice in my opinion.

Thanks! I just found a use for that new duplex/stapling printer at work.

You're very welcome! There are several more service manuals for different vespas in there.

They are stickies at the top of each model. There are also a few in the 'General' section that did not fit the other model subforums.
