Yep; more and more on long trips, splitting it 50-50 feet on the pegs or feet all the way forward on thel ower back of the legshield.
Don't much care for the "throne" riding position, either... |

I do on the LT-150. It really changes the way I ride the bike, and I feel much more confident in the corners.

Most definitely. For aggressive rides I use the pegs whether I'm riding the GTS or the LX. However I find that the front-end lightens up and I need to push it down.
I put heavier bar-ends on the GTS to give me a little more secure feeling. H |

I ride like that 99% of the time. I feel it give better balance especially on the freeway and cornering.
The crappy thing is when the wife rides on the back I have to put my feet somewhere else. Though riding like we do, one needs to check the pass pegs periodically and re tighten them against the frame. Manny. |

It's way easier to do wheelies on the Elite 150 when I stand on the passenger pegs. I also do it when I'm feeling sporty. 8)

You can wheelie any Vespa, although I haven't tried an LX50. It's not like a throttle-on power wheelie, more like a leg-assisted wheelie. Because the front end is so light, you can lift the front of the bike and throttle on until you find the balance point. I've done it with et2's, LX150's and GTS's.

I talked to a technician who said the Genuine Rattler 110 will wheelie like a monster. Not for me though... I had plenty of wheelies on my old KDX 200 I had years ago.
