It's getting cold and windy here in Toronto but I'd like to still ride my scooter to work. My problem is that I really get cold when the temperatures dip below 12C/54F. I suffer from Reynauds Syndrome, which is aggravated by the cold and the vibration of the bike. I have to wear good gloves whenever I'm riding. My ride into work is about 30minutes so it's not too long a ride, but long enough to feel frozen by the time I get there. I've been layering like crazy. I'd love to get gloves/jacket that runs off the battery, but I'm pretty sure my Typhoon would not handle it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

A windscreen does wonders in blocking the wind...several sizes are available...

Bought the small one from PJ Parts
Heard there is not much power is avialable on the Typhoon...even the manual says not to put on the high beam, except at speed.
A scooter blanket would help, and there are gloves, socks, and coats that uses rechargable batteries....
Me, when the snow comes, I am going to park the scoot and drive my 4 wheel truck!

Ha, yup I'm already there. The battery tender is engaged and fuel stabilizer is in the tank. Nothing beats the subaru during the cold winter months: love the heated seats and the all-wheel drive!

Stick some of these in your gloves.

It's a scooter, twist and go, grab and stop. Mittens work way better than gloves. Get one of the tall windshields and cut it down to were you can just see over it.
