Airfoil goggles
I'm wearing a full face helmet now that it's cold, but in the warmer weather when I wear a 3/4 helmet, I wear a Davida Jet helmet with Pacific Coast Airfoil 9300 goggles over my eyeglasses. They are very well made goggles and you can buy them online at the Motorcycle Superstore for about $26. Of course if you don't wear eyeglasses, you might prefer a different style of goggles.

I am wearing a modular helmet in the cooler weather we are having here now, but in warm weather I wear a Vespa Soft Touch helmet and sunglasses or Birdz Ravens eyewear:

Does anyone make goggles that automatically tint when it gets bright out? Similar to what they make eyeglasses out of?

I have always worn yellow goggles/glasses for night riding. The work like a charm and I prefer them to clear goggles because the yellow tint is enough to keep headlight glare down and they can double as daytime sunglasses.

I have inexpensive Bobster goggles they were like 30.00. They came with yellow, clear and tinted lenses and they easily changed

I bought some wrap around glasses (terminator sunglasses style) with clear plastic frames and clear lenses. £10 from my local mc shop. they work a treat as they don't let anything like dust, gravel, flies etc in the sides and unless you really look, they are almost invisible. they look really good with an opened face helmet. (they don't do much when you get a big juicy fly in the mouth though unfortunately

I bought me and my wife a pair of Tifosi sunglasses. They have changeable lenses and 0 distortion. Heck I can see better with them on then without!
I originally bought them for bicycling, but they work great for everything else One set of lenses they come with is clear. Price is pretty decent too. http://www.tifosioptics.com/ Got them off of Amazon. Local Sporting good stores might carry them too. I know REI does. |

the Tifosi sunglasses also make a darking lense pair. Not one that is interchangable. But a stand alone pair that has the technology. Since I use my sunglasses to drive my car I didn't get these. The change is caused by UV light. Glass can block the UV and the glasses will eventually go back to clear.

Ya, I bought goggles, visors, etc. for my open face helmet. Still didn't like the way sand and bugs could still hit my face, so I went to snap-on face shields. Dark smoke faceshield for daily use, a clear shield for nighttime....
