i'm not feeling the love! no responses to my prior query!

has ANYONE out there, worldwide, replaceD the COOLANT INTAKE HOSE....or at least i THINK that's what the italian puzzle-masters are calling it. it runs from the coolant pump all the way to the radiator under the right floorboard. i'm trying to avoid paying $75 an hour to the vespa shop to replace a $15 hose. i'm guessing three hours because, in vespa land, you have to disassemble most of the scooter to replace anything. i'm looking for anyone who's done it for tips/pitfalls/observations.

I haven't had to do this yet but it looks to me like you will have to jack up the engine under the swing-arm and remove the top of the rear shocks from their mounts so the engine can drop. This would make it much easier to get at. Here's a link to a thread where someone dropped their engine to adjust their valves:
