Could someone let me know if this is the right O Ring for a vespa et4 oil filter casing ( pre leader ) ? I think the new one looks thinner than the old one. Thanks Rhinos8572.

for the pre-leader engine, it's the one on the left you want. the one on the right is too thin and oil will spew everywhere when you start up the engine.

many dealers will insist that the thinner ring is the one you want as it's the one that is listed in the parts manual. however, it is not the correct one. fit it and start up the engine if you don't believe me.

seriously? how lame of them. i'll ask my mechanic for the part number and you can ask your dealer to order it from piaggio for you.

just curious - have you tried other dealerships? you might want to ring around a couple of places.
