Soy Mixto!
1/2 Salvadoran y 1/2 assorted cuacasian varietals (English/Irish/etc...).

Chicano, the way I understand it refers solely to those born and raised in US of Mexican descent.

Lots of nonsense
I really hate all these names that they assign to us in the USA.
There is not such a thing as a Latino!
This implies that we are of "Latin???" descent?
Do we speak "latin"???
If we are Hispanic, then the americans must be "English"
We are Cuban (like myself) or Mexican or Argentinian.
This reveals the country here we were born. If you were born here, then in my book, you are an American. Or more precisely, an Estadounidense.
Then there is the race of the individual. We come in all colors, just like the Americans! There are white Cubans, black Argentinians (YES, there are black Argentinians, I know two.!) Venezuelan amerindian, whites, mixed race, black, etc. etc. etc.
The Americans do not own title to the White Race! My family comes from Spain and our necks are redder than in many Americans I know!
Also, as we all are very aware, we do not get along all the time, since in many cases we are extremelly nationalistic.
As for riding scooters and being "latino", what does one thing has to do with the other??

My Best friend is of the same opinion.
I guess one must remember that we are the country that came up with the "One Drop" rule and maybe one day we will progress past that point.

WOW! Amazing example of serious Scooter Art - which comes out of the rich mural traditions of the Mexican Revolution - of Diego Rivera - Jose Clemente Orozco - David Siquieros - but also out of the rich mural traditions of Barrios and street art - and also lowriders. Way cool!

This is Indonesian art. The English do the same type of paint work.

I see your point and agree. Lets all agree to be called HUMANS.

As mentioned above, I dont see colors of skins when I ride, I see colors of scooters.

Muraled Scoot is beautiful, everything but Ganesha... I don't think the Jag fender unit really works with it. But it's a great theme in my opinion. R
