Lots of nonsense
I really hate all these names that they assign to us in the USA.
There is not such a thing as a Latino! This implies that we are of "Latin???" descent? Do we speak "latin"??? If we are Hispanic, then the americans must be "English" We are Cuban (like myself) or Mexican or Argentinian. This reveals the country here we were born. If you were born here, then in my book, you are an American. Or more precisely, an Estadounidense. Then there is the race of the individual. We come in all colors, just like the Americans! There are white Cubans, black Argentinians (YES, there are black Argentinians, I know two.!) Venezuelan amerindian, whites, mixed race, black, etc. etc. etc. The Americans do not own title to the White Race! My family comes from Spain and our necks are redder than in many Americans I know! Also, as we all are very aware, we do not get along all the time, since in many cases we are extremelly nationalistic. As for riding scooters and being "latino", what does one thing has to do with the other?? Juan |

Juan I guess one must remember that we are the country that came up with the "One Drop" rule and maybe one day we will progress past that point. |
