Modern Vespa

Well I finally got my wheels back with chrome plating from Jettin Industries. They look perfect, mirror finish, just what I wanted. I would post a picture, but its rainy and shitty out, I'm hoping to ride it a couple times before the snow comes, which is projected for monday and tuesday, hmmmm.

Very nice!! When time comes to change tires, I plan to do the same. I think the chrome is SO much nicer than the painted gray look that is stock on my GTS.

I have never been a big chrome fan but damn those look awesome! I like the tires too. I didn't realize that they made scooter tires , I like their bicycle stuff.

Off topic, but picture related...How do you like the Vredesteins? Do you have the Tornante or Staccata? Good wet/dry performance? Any noticeable or significant differences from your stock tires? Would you buy them again? Thanks!

I just had them (Tornante) put on and only rode it about 30 miles yesterday, on wet and dry roads. They ride great, nice and quiet, they look cool too. My originals were Sava, back tire was gone at 2500 miles. I got a real deal on them for $40 and $42, so I thought I would try them out, the bicycle tires they make are great.
Time will be the test.
