I am having my 8K service done on my GT, and will replace the rollers and belt. I may throw on a rear tire for good measure. Should I also do shocks?

I have no issues with the shocks yet, but I am 280 and ride the scoot as a daily commuter. most of my riding is secondary highways and I run 45-65 MPH for up to 1/2 most days, but 3-4 hours on weekends. I am not into performance parts, and will keep the scoot essentially stock.

What's the life span of the front and the rear(s) shocks?

1) Do you feel bouncy
2) prolonged oscillation
3) sagging rear suspension

for a 280 dude, gt is too small for you.

on my gt they lasted for 5 years and I noticed that the ride was a bit bouncy and bumps more pronouced. I think at the 5 year point you should replace them anyway. Saves wear and tear on swing arm and tires.

I have a set of GTS shocks, most people would agree they are an upgrade from the GT200, came off a 200 mile GTS, $100 including shipping.
