Ah yes, the key to the Donkie Skok SC is Membership of course.

re. stickers - if getting stickers printed is anything like getting cards printed, then doing it via the internet (using a service where you email the document, and they post out the printed result) is going to be the cheapest option. just google 'vinyl stickers uk' and you come up with a load of hits. when i did the MV cards (which i forgot to hand round at the last meet ) i just chose the cheapest service, and was really happy with the results.

now. more nonsense, we must continue the theme: i rode my scooter in a wee snowstorm this morning! luckily the snow wasn't sticking to the road, so as far as traction was concerned, it was more like riding in heavy rain, but it was fun watching it settle on the lap apron. so picturesque, i felt like i was on a little sleigh.

Got a day off ! What an ideal day for a ride out on Wang Chung. Well it would be if it wasn't raining and bloody cold. Heaven knows I'm miserable now.

i didn't know it was such a popular topic. it's part of a research project thingo .... a whole load of oxbridge spods banging on about kant, and me piping up with my dotty theories about video games and the technological sublime.

it starts at 12:30, in the Manton studio at the Tate brit. if you turn up, i can get you in.

Its one of my pet interests and i've been basing alot of my recent photographic work around the sublime and Heidegger's notion of 'being'... the symposium sounds right up my street.

Genie let me know if there is anything else along those lines comming up, I would be very interested, oh i love a bit of sublime of an afternoon followed by a few ales and a session of talkin bollox... happy days

Rode the black today - if I get that it is 200 quid off the list price.

I love the 300, it is a stunning, smooth ride with great acceleration. Gorgeous, a huge step up from the LX. Get the money together and will make a decision when that's done.

And the dealer told me today that the rumour is that the 250 will be dropped!

What a great day. Finished off The life of Aryton Senna then drove through the monsoon to Bluewater to buy The Last Fighting Tommy where I lasted about 20 minutes because it was so crowded. Recession what recession ?
Roll on a friday or Saturday when I can get Wang Chung to breath again.
Really do like the 300 in red but the black gets my vote especially when it's 300 quid off.

On the subject of that - anyone heard from Doug ?

I just watched the Wales game - excellent Rugby, a great game to watch for once.

Trying to reset my body clock again. One day it might work.

It might work this time - I've tried staying up all night and the next day, didn't work. So this time I stayed up until about 07:30 then slept for about two hours. With luck I'll actually feel like bed at a sensible time tonight, and manage to wake at a sensible time tomorrow!
