I wasn't posting earlier to bump the post numbers up, honest, just to keep this on the front page, we nearly slipped off!

Nothing to add, except that I have a need for GTS 300. I have asked if they will come in red to the UK. Fingers crossed!

i sat on the 'might be mine' GTS today, and made 'vroom vroom' noises. she really does have a wide arse. kelvin's sorted out her smashed front headlamp and handlebar covers .... all it needs now is a new CDI and then ..... then .....

we are going to need to tend this thread very carefully indeed over the holiday season. it would be terribly sad if our waste of bandwidth were to drop off the front page due to drunken yuletide neglect.

As the only non drinker here I'm going to do my best to remain sober over the Christmas period and while you lot are nursing hangovers I'm going to keep posting rants about stuff I don't understand or can come to terms with just so we can keep this thread on page one where it belongs.
I really like the idea that the Donkie Skok Scooter Club isn't really a club at all. It's more of a collective without any kind of fixed structure but made up of like minded people. In the words of Alanis Morrisette isn't it ironic that it's a club without actually being a club.
Having written that I am proud of being one of the original 12.

I think you'll find Piaggio have dropped the Black GTS and are going for white and Red only from now on.... there were lots of discussions on another forum.

Wondermachine: if you want a 2yr old GTS250 in red, loaded with chrome, stock exhaust and Vespa flyscreen, you should make my wife an offer.

At the very least, it might help her to work out just how much she loves her GTS, and might stop her going round in circles along the lines of: "Ooh, I fancy an MP3 400. It would be much better for longer trips and holidays. But I love the look of my GTS, so it'd be really hard to sell it. And I can't have two scooters. Oh, what shall I do?"

The DVD was actually loaned to me by a friend of mine and it has had a 100% pass rate so far, therefore i decree that henceforth it shall be known as the official 'donkei skok scooter club Lucky DVD' so please keep hold of it until someone deserving comes along and you feel on a benefactorial mood.
