them mountain troosers are perfect for over wear (they got full length zips up the outsides of the leggage, easy off / on) so big is what you need.
as for the triumph... well this aint the actuall one but it should look like this

thought for the day
Well allow me to do it for you. Actually I'm a bit uncomfortable talking about WM's muff as well maybe because I like her so much so I'm going to withdraw. There I go again.
Is that really a Triumph 10 christos ? You must talk your friend into bringing that along. It looks a little bit mad but cute.
Wang Chung update - Bennets have done a fine job cancelling the ET4 insurance and sorting out a policy for the 200 so it be legal to ride it on Friday. Only two weeks and I can show it off to the world.
Cool wet moss.

not sure whether A will attend ... he's got his head in a book most of the time these days and may elect to stay home and bathe in the warm glow of academia. if he does come then expect him to bang on about the cultural history of drum n bass to the exclusion of any other topic

woooooo!! three pages, most of it total nonsense!! we're on form this week. shall we try and make it to six pages this time? i say if it goes over 6 pages then we've all got to put donkieskok stickers on our scooters.

Genie I swear you read my mind with reference the donkieskok stickers on the scoots idea. Pink on vintage green mmm I can see that one working.
OK Well if A doesn't want to come along maybe we can make up for the conversation that we didn't have near the 02.
Is it really two weeks to go ? 6 pages huh should be easy enough.

Are you good looking ? Just kidding, of course you are welcome ! Anyone who rides an ET4 to Germany and back gets my respect. Business or pleasure ? Chicken or Beef ? Red or white ?
It will be nice to meet a new face. This could end up in a right old donkieskokney knees up. Kam and Christos might even make it - nudge nudge. As my old girlfriend used to say - go on just commit :-0
I know that we don't know the exact numbers but shall I/we ring the halfway house and get a table booked?
I really do like Jims idea of riding back via Eynsford . Got a venue lined up ? After which I'll leave you beautiful people to ride back to Maidstone and the portacabin in live in.
Excited now on a pengiun book of excitement level.

Got in this morning and the other office biker was in jeans and trainers. He remarked "not cold enough for you?"

Dessa, central London generates so much heat that the roads rarely have settled snow on them, though you should watch out for slush. Sun has got his hat on so I wouldn't worry though.

there was snow on the roads in hackney, and a very large semi-frozen puddle that i sloshed straight through, to my alarm.

unprecedented levels of hand warmth were achieved this morning, due to a clever combination of handlebar muffs (not merkins!) and grip heaters. i had my summer gloves on

Good idea to warn the Halfway House - thanks for volunteering Bill!

There's a reasonable Pub in Eynsford (The Watermark?) right by the river. There won't be too many squealers padding in it at this time of year.

Yeah I kinda walked into that one didn't I ? OK I'll warn them that there should be about ten of us arriving around 12:30 -1pm on the Saturday.
We should have a plan in case it rains though, which of course it won't.

We do our best to please.

Talking about the weather I tried my Vespa Magno Hot-Merkin this morning.

It is much less stiff than the Tucano one I had but it flaps about more at over 50mph.

Funny that. I never knew Merkins had flaps before.

FWIW, it snowed last night. I was on Skype with a buddy of mine in N15 area (post code?) and it snowed.

I'll be there in Dec freezing my skinny little tropical warm weathered butt off.

well, where our friend Huskyteer in south London aka "the Riviera" hehehe.. escaped the snow, North Londoners are in the "mountains" apparently hehe we got it pretty fair.
yes, N is for north, NW (moi and Kam) northwest and you cracked it!

just back to the topic, so I worked it out to show off to my friends and family and we will be riding approximately 63km or 39 miles from meeting point.
for me, add another 27 miles... I can see my bum going very numb...

I might even make this but it does all depend on the weather, not rain but the cold, I reckon the starting point will be around 80 miles from me , I know Mereworth (which is on the route is 115 miles.)So I'm not doing it if it's freezing.
Be good to meet some of the UK massive.. I don't have avespa but i do have an italian scooter.

That looks a very long way round. On a 50cc go for "shortest route", "hate major roads". It should look more like a straight line.

Avoid 'A' roads like the plague, they have speed limits.

On a 50cc that is derestricted (I assume yours is) then also assume an average of 20mph for those sort of roads. Even a 1000cc won't get much better than 30mph average in daylight.
