I deplore wasted resources!
It's going on group ride-outs that convert 'scooter commuters' into bikers, who do it for the fun. All those who declare that bikes are good for the environment are talking twaddle - I do maybe 3,000 miles a year on essential grocery trips etc, the other 22,000 are purely for pleasure! Now show me a car driver in the UK who could say that - going out for a 'Sunday drive' died out in the fifties... So don't waste that precious resource 'time'. Do things while you can. |

I think I'm going to take my car out for a drive on Sunday because I'm sure the pleasure of it hasn't died out.

What is the estimated time of departure from Borough?? And for 12 o clock at the pub I think it's wise to allow 2 hours at the very least - especially from me the 50cc! glad I'll be escorted by you lot too, I won't get lost to borough market but would struggle to find that petrol station already in the sticks!! hehe my top box is jammed so I can't carry much stuff! I'm so gutted. the lock is really rubbish, and I had a new one put on last year. Does anyone think they can have a look? This way I can help carry the cheese hope the weather is nice, it was minging outside just now! much love!!! ta-da!!!! |

I will bring my posh camera. There is a credit crunch, innit, so I will refrain from buying any cheeses for the mices.
Maybe I can stretch to coffee. I will be there shortly after nine I hope. Looks like we can add a new member to our Kent gathering.... (ohsuchislife) I do so hope Bill doesn't scare him off by flirting with him (Bill, be on best behaviour, please, and leave christosx alone too). Huskeyteer and I are already quivering.... maybe Wonder Machine and her Supermerkin can protect us all. Dessa I'd be glad to look at your lock. I shall bring my mini toolkit! We don't want a cheesy disaster en route. Hopefully the sun will shine on DKSC on Saturday. I, however, do not trust the BBC, especially after letting the Radio 2 controller resign. (Oh, on second thoughts that was a good thing, as she was the one who hired Brand. And who was it again suggested that the little troll play Frankenfurter???) Lokng forward to seeing you all on Saturday.... what happened to secret Santa by the way or did the carmudgeons put paid to that? I am now rambling so I had better stop. |

Don't worry Doug because I think Nik the Escort should be meeting us at the Pub at 12 so he will make sure my flirting will be kept to the minimum.
I hope you don't mind a non Vespa owner joing us on that day. He's a good sort as those of you who met him near the 02 know. Billy-no-sccot |

Actually, when I mentioned WM's Supermerkin, I forgot to ask Dessa if she had sorted her Superbra carrier out. There would be plenty of room for cheese in there....
Or am I just imagining one of our inebriated conversations that didn't actually happen? |

OK Last time of asking - The GT200 is going to have it's front end straightened tomorrow morning and after that I'm going to take it for a long ride to get used to it so if anyone is around and knows of a good place to meet up tell me know.
