he was hiding behind a branch and didn't observe me taking aim with my camera. check out the picture below. if you look very carefully, you can see him...

i've also just noticed the floating beer tin at the bottom of the photo. there was no table or other support beneath it... the tin appears to be defying gravity and hovering in the air.

I have just read of this on the X9 Owner's forum. I know I have not had a Vespa for 18 months but would have loved to come along, however it is too late to remake my plans for tomorrow. Have fun, and I look forward to see Alice's photos.

Oh, curses, I would have mentioned it if I'd thought. I'll give you a nudge next time one of these gets planned!

Argh, I unexpectedly have to wait for a courier tomorrow morning! ETA some time between 9 and 10:30 - if it's the latter, it will be 11 or shortly after before I make the Esso station. Somebody wait for me, please!
