Installed Cosa cluth in P200E. Polted everything back together, then noticed that my flywheel was jammed. Thought all kinds of things. Fist though that the spacer washer was too thick. I shved about 01.2mm off of it. Bolted the ride back together, same problem. Flywheel not turning. zchecked the Cosa bolt. Not using casa wavy washer.I just boled it on, 30lb on the nut. Everything checked out okay. Put the clutch cover back on, flywheel still not turning. Then it dawned on me that the fly lock issue is a result ofthe Cosa clutch rubbing on the clutch cover when its on. I went ahead and shaved some material from the insde of the cover. The web pattern support inside I took downa bit as i assumed that it may be rubbing. Yet, the ccrank still does not rotate. Any advice would be appreciated. Doe I need to obtain another clutch cover? This is a old P200. Is there a PX/Cosa cover out there that I should be looking at?

Also the spacewasher, should I still run that despite me shaving off a mm worh of material?

Okay
I grounded a lot of Aluminum away and I think I sorted the probs out. The channel in the hub cover was rubbing it the wrong way. Not in a good way like a cute girl. Anyhow I think its sorted.

Fell free to add more if I have over looked something.

Back to square one
I put the pressure plate on. Now the clutch rubs again. Cant really grind away any more material. And the clutch washer is very thin. Does any one know where I may get a Casa/Px clutch cover that's tall enough for the cosa clutch but the same diameter to fit a Mk1 p200?

I think the guys on the BBS have it right - your thrust washer is screwing you up.

Rock a smaller thrust washer behind the clutch and it will work.

I've got the washer at 1.5mm already. Any thinner and it would be useless t o even use it. Someone said on BBS that it should fit despite the cover. However, I have the clutch all of the way down on the crank. Wont go any farther. Dont know what to do at this point. Stumped
=(

Pull the thrust washer and try again. Try it without it.

( my opinion - it's worth seeing if it fits without one on there at all. I've ridden bikes without thrust washers on there, and though some folks will swear you NEED one or else the clutch will snatch more often, others - like me, will tell you how they've ridden without one for quite some time )

Cheers man.

It fits without it. Problem was the woodruff key. Too wide and too tall. I have to shave it down just a little. I hope all will be okay. There was some side to side play before I tightened it. I put about 30+ lbs on the nut. No more play. Will test it soon.
