You have a big problem with this one I am afraid as I am almost certain that the UK model uses a Bosch fitting (Ba20d) and not the halogen H4 one like Europe and the US. I don't think you can buy an off the shelf replacement for a Bosch fitting whereas you can for an H4.

You can tell which bulb you have by looking at it through the lens. The H4 is this one:

I had a Ba20d bulb and is just difficult at night more if its pouring. I wonder why Piaggio did this to some of the Gtv's? If you decide even Halogen would make a big difference.
