See if they say whether they are encoded in PAL or NTSC format on them.

NTSC is what most US DVD players require. A computer-based DVD rom drive is less picky.

I got mine in last week. They work fine. I've learned so much just by watching the maintenance DVD. It would be super boring for someone more experienced, but for someone who has never even looked inside of the headset, it was awesome.
