Instead of height, I am interested in width... I know that the Faco tall windscreen flares out at the bottom to cover the hand grips on the scooter, but I was wondering if any other brands/styles do the same? It seems that this would be helpful as far as keeping hands a little warmer in the winter months...

Thanks,

Desi B.

The fly screen does not flare out to cover the grips. The Vespa/Piaggio tall one does, somewhat. Not fully to the end of the grips, but a good portion of them. Maybe that is because I have the top box end bar weights installed. They seem to go most of the way out.

The Cuppini also flares out and has excellent coverage for the hands.

For the GT/GTV'GTS series the only windscreen I could find that covered my hands too was the Vespa very tall one. So I got one and cut it down so I can see over it, and yes it does keep the wind offa my hands okay now! 8)

I did the same. One more thing. I stripped off the gray edging that comes with the tall windscreen and put on black windscreen edging (sold by Cycle Gear, among others). My GTS is yellow, so black matched the best. The edging comes in different colors: chrome, blue, red, violet, etc. It hides the saw cut on the top and the residual glue and factory saw cuts on the sides and bottom of the screen.
I considered the Faco screen (my dealer had both the Vespa and Faco screens to compare). I liked the Vespa screen better.

My Faco mid-size has the hand protectors--they work great.
