Modern Vespa

Has anyone else been seeing intermittent problems connecting to MV over the last couple of days? I've been getting hiccups on my end where the server is momentarily unavailable or where it just crawls to a halt and refuses to serve pages.

Anyone?

yes. i was just about to raise this issue. it's been annoyingly slow for about a week on my end. i thought it was my ISP but everything else seems to be loading fine.

I'm not having any problems here. My my cox e-mail account is very slow.

YES! It comes and goes at different times of the day.

Yes a few times today was slow as f*nk and a couple times came up with page not aval.

Moving at a snails pace, on an off, yesterday and today.

Yes - as I post this it is slow and has been for the last few days!

Yes. On and off. I thought it was my ISP until I tried a few other sites ... then I knew it was just MV.

Yuppers, took about 10-15 minutes to load the page yesterday. Or at least the time to feed the dogs lunch & throw a load of laundry in the washer.

It's intermittent here. Half an hour ago every page took a minute or two to load, just now it's fast.

YES. ME! Sometimes page doesn't load at all. Other times, it takes 10 minutes for page to load, or it times out.

Actually, it just happened. 5:00 AM EST.

Heh, I thought it was annoying too. That made me realize how much we all post here....heh. What would I do without this place? Seriously? My GF calls, and asks "what are you doing? Looking at Vespa page??".

No problems here. You're probably using a Mac

I've had several moments where I was unable to connect to the server as well over the past few days.

Complete failure yesterday evening - so frustrated I went and did some work for a change!

yah, few times over the last few weeks the MV page wouldn't load - like this a.m. about 5 minutes ago - jumped over to BBC and it worked fine so it can't be Comcast.

Intermittent failures here.

Unfortunately, I don't have a job to fill in the time when MV is down

Yip, is happening all the time to me for the last month or two. All other pages are working fine...
I though it might be an overloaded server when all MV'ers get home and jump on the net...

I assumed it was our DSL Service and have been powering down and restarting the PC. Verizon did not indicate any outages in our area.

Been very slow to refresh

Crawling the last 5 minutes. Couldn't even get to the index page.

Today has been particularly bad, it took ten attempts to respond to a PM.

ditto - have been trying to refresh for the past 10 mintues and a post I did, timed out on me.

We need more power Captain!

Yes here too. intermittent timeouts.

Perhaps new DiLithium Crystals are needed, or some whiskey in the diesel fuel

I've been having trouble for at least a week. I think i posted this on another thread but i couldn't submit a response one day. Computer acted like it didn't take and when it finally went through there were about 5 of the same posts. I've never had that problem before.
