I want to replace my ET4 headlight. I want brighter and better.

Motorsports has this for sale:

http://www.scooterwest.com/item_detail/Piaggio-Xenon-Euro-Headlight-With-Bulbs/299/

I am wondering if this is the best solution to my problem or is there more out there that I do not know about

THANKS!!!

This is a great way to go. "plug and play" and easily DIY.

You'll be happy with this product. I did the install myself and it's no problem...

I bought one also. Did the install about 2 weeks ago and it was pretty easy. It the headlight seems brighter, not sure about the bright though, and nnfortunately the Bright (xenon) has already crapped out on me so I've gotta get another bulb (and yes I made sure not to touch the bulbs with anything but a clean cloth).

Right on apziskin...

I def. think the bulb is 40% brighter. Especially at night.

My bulb has been fine so far. Then again I think u prob. ride alot more (seeing from past scooter tags) than me...so shorter lifespan on the bulb.

There is the option mentioned above. The cheaper solution (but not as bright) is to just put a halogen bulb in your original headlight.

The original bulb is 35 watts. The twin halogen complete headlight uses 55 watt bulbs so they are much brighter.

It's the best we've found. We have HID kits for the other modern Vespas, but they don't fit the ET-series machines.

Max,

How does replacing the stock bulb with the xenon one you sell on your website (although out of stock) compare to getting the euro headset with a xenon bulb? Is it the same, or brighter with the headset?

Thanks.

The halogen and xenon bulbs are the same wattage as the standard bulb (35w) but are a more efficient than the standard bulb, so are a bit brighter. The Twin Halogen Headlight takes 55 watt bulbs, so they are significantly brighter. This is also the headlight that was designed to go in the ET4. We got the American version (DOT Approved) which wasn't as bright.

I got this tip from a Electrician I know...
Use gloves when handling these bulbs....
The oil from your hands tend to burn them out.....
