Looks great, especially with everything else being black as well.

Kinda off-topic, but do you have other pics of your scoot? I haven't seen many with that backrest yet, and I'm considering getting one.

The blacked out engine looks great.
I am in the process of making a black/blue scoot happen. I have a midnight blue GTS that I am going to wind up with all black parts on it.

Thanks for the inspiring shots of the engine....

Thank you Joel,

Please post pic's when you have finished it should look awesome very stealth like.

I am trying to get some black Fuoco 500 wheels to put on the GTS they would look fantastic on the scoot i think in my humble opinion..

Regards Mark.

P.S. That is one beautiful scoot! I love the second picture on this post(the close up of the headlight)! Looks like something from the Death Star. Beautiful job on everything from the wheels and the engine.

Oh, another thing, if you're gonna get the 500's tires, make sure to grab Michelin Golds if possible. That's what the 09's are coming with and the 12" apparently are available only on the bike. The peeps on the Mp3 forum are currently snooping for the 12" and I'm even having trouble getting a replacement for my 14" rear tire! Grab em when you find em!

is that an OEM Vespa flyscreen? If so, where did the little Vespa badge come from? I am looking for a badge about that size.

Looks great, what did you use to do the tint?

It is an original screen from a dealer. It is the new screen for the GTS 300 Super thats fits the GTs 250. I have done nothing to it its how it comes straight from the dealer...

How hard was it to put the red sticker on the wheels? Did you have to take them off to put them on?

The rim tape is nice and easy to do just take your time...

I did not take the wheels off and some rim tapes do come with a little plastic applicator to run around the rim to put the tape on.....

That's a really nice job, you should be proud of it!

I am intrigued by one of the photos; did you use a reflective red paint on your rims? It seems to be glowing.

I was just reading another thread that kept saying how loud the PM68 is. I don't want something loud. It does look nice though. Beatiful bike all around. Nice job.

The Tinted blinkers- Did you have them tinted or did you buy them that way?
I saw some in the Scooterworks catalog, bt they are shown on the Buddy page so I was not sure if they were for Vespa's or Buddy's.

overall, really nice looking bike you've put together there.

Did this to the LX today using Tamiya model paint. Very easy and looks great! Not as dark as it looks in the bottom photo. I'm running brighter bulbs too.
