JimH are you out there. I've PM and emailed you about getting keys made...no reply.

I just got keys made two weeks ago. Was a pleasure... Thanks again JimH!

Maybe had enough after chasing my key through the postal system and taken leave?

I see he hasn't posted on here since the 13th and I've been trying to contact him since the 20th.

I tried PM'ing him today.

He's probably just taking a break.

Let's us know if you track him down. I've been emailing also.......but he's probably out searching for my key lost in the U.S. Mail.....he is dedicated.

Lanny, I am glad to hear that he did not only have to chase after my key... was slightly embarrassing.... But I guess he has practice then, not that I wish him to have practice in chasing keys.

Yea, I screwed up. I was leaving town so I mailed it from one of those mail service centers....didn't send it priority mail..so delighted to have gotten it in the mail...la, la, la, la.the us mail service is so reliable.la..la la...la, la..(skipping back to my car).......that was October 7th!

I thought I had an extra key...weak almost broken key...but I can't find it. OH, fortunatley it was my topcase key he was going to cut....but it's been three weeks with no topcase.....this morning I threw a little tizzy....It's cold, I have a night time meeting, I want to running after work......so running clothes, lunch, purse...riding home a 9pm sweating and cold..... But I'll be fine. I'll actually end up enjoying the ride and being happy that I did it.

So now I've emailed Jim a few times to confirm that he definately hasn't gotten it.....so I can proceed forward in getting a whole new lock. But no response....

My key was no longer in the envelope I had put it in, so the empty envelope arrived a week before the key was hand delivered by the postmaster. My luck they found it at the post office!

He must be out and about somewhere, it took me a while to reach him but in the end my key was cut and returned to me! I'd give him a chance....

Thanks to all the members for their concern.

After a very large tree fell on my house, we have been without power for 15 days The power is now back on and i will be in contact with members over the next few days. It's been very hard trying to move key machines to friends houses, but that's another story.

As of now i have 117 emails to check so please give me time to respond. Also, i receive 15-20 keys daily for cloning so if you wish please feel free to call me regarding your keys or locks.

I have really missed MV these past few weeks, it's good to be back

Wow jimh- that's terrible. Glad that you are okay- and I'm sure that folks won't mind waiting for their keys- especially given the circumstances! Take care of yourselves.

Jim, that is terrible about your home. I hope things are going to get fixed quickly. I assume everyone is safe and alright? Take care of your family and yourself first, work can wait.

So sorry to hear what happened, Jim. I have a hard time imagining what it would be like to be without power for 15 days in Texas. I really can't imagine what it must have been like for you in Maine.

Did you really like that roof anyway? I'm glad you're okay and I'm hoping that the weather hasn't been too terribly awful. Better than January, I guess.

I've been thinking and NOW is the perfect time to send in my key...I won't be needing it until Spring.

Sorry, Jim, with your crash last summer on the way to AmeriVespa and now the tree, it's been a really tough year for you. Remember what you said last summer, if every one in the family is OK then everything else is too. Hang in there!

You need to teach that tree a lesson... !!!
If I were you I would chop it up into little pieces
( 18" x 8" x 8" is a good size)
Mail all the piece to me and I will dispose of them for you.
I try to do all I can to help out fellow MV'ers

Dang jim, sorry to hear about the bad news Happy that nothing worse than loss of power and nobody injured. Fare thee well Jim!

Wow, very sorry to hear about the tree falling. I'm patient...it's jsut a key..and a topcase.

Last year a woman from my office stepped out the door to get into her car...she stepped back in and said..."there's a weird noise out there" our boss got up to go look. Within seconds a tree fell smashing her little car flat and came through the building crashing into the desk where Boss was sitting. Too strange. Thankfully she wasn't on auto pilot!! It was a huge valley oak that became totally saturated with water the branch just couldn't hold it's self up any longer.

Lanny that happened to me sort of in Santa Rosa. I had my brand new car parked and I had to leave early from work to find out that the tree next to my car fell over and smashed 5 cars including someone who sat right next to me. Luckily I moved my brand new 2 day old car to leave early.

Oh Man! That is awful! What happened- you get a bad storm? Did you get a lot of snow? You must have, for you to be out of power for 15 days!! I was in Camden on the 14+15 of October. Your wife said you were working on the house. Was the tree after? Sorry to hear- littles all warm?
