Yep......................It's been very erratic this morning. Works great for a few minutes and then you can't connect for a long period of time...............then, the cycle begins again.

It's definitely some congestion at the server end - pings and traceroutes are as quick as ever.

It may not be the server's fault though, there might be external influences...

Oddly enough, I'm seeing reasonable performance on my end at this moment. I have been seeing on and off problems over the last few days, but not right this moment.

Just an FYI...

I've been discussing the issues with the webhost. They think it's a MySQL problem, which might be contributing to the slowdown. However, I think it's unlikely that a MySQL issue would cause the server to just disappear altogether.

Still trying to figure it out. I might have to upgrade our MySQL service to accommodate the rather large proportions that MV has grown into, although it will cost almost 4x per month.

Seems there was actually an incident last night and this morning that they're working on stabilizing, unrelated to anything MV-specific. I'm reading the system status reports right now....
