A few weeks ago I went down at low speed and now I have this 6" wide spot. I was considering a mod target or wasp sticker to cover it, but I haven't found anything big enough. Any recommendations or other ideas? I don't think i can afford to get it repaired now and it makes me sad everytime I look at it. HELP!

That is too bad. You could get someone to make you something at one of those vinyl sign shops. Another option is Martha Stewart could whip you up a doily real quick. Oh and Aviator Gray has to be one of my favorite Vespa colors!

Oh man, sorry to see the damage. Not sure if you travel much or have any interest, but I like the oval stickers from Europe - I am fond of the "F" for France and that would cover the spot on your scoot nicely - my previous scoot sported the F on it's left cowl. Of course, there are many other options for different countries in case you don't like France.

Italy since that is where your scoot is from. Maybe a thick racing stripe?

Those as well are not quite big enough (3"x5")

Okay, I actually found this site that does custom 6"x4" oval stickers.

http://www.betadesigns.com/order/product_info.asp?design=332

You can pick the text and background color as well as up to 27 characters above and 27 below the large center text. I was thinking VESPA in the center, and perhaps the mpg/top speed on top with a phrase below. Thoughts? "La Dolce Vita" maybe?

The bandaid sticker would be funny but I want to forget the damage, not be reminded of it every day.

Saddlebags will cover it up nicely.
