Modern Vespa

I was looking on eBay, and came across this scoot...

Front spring seems to have rather a lot of rust on it.... you guys think it can be replaced if i was to upgrade it with a Bitubo or whatever, or would I need to replace more than that? I imagine that there's a fair bit of stuff i need to replace as it's rusty...

Am after a "project" but don't want to be biting off more than i can chew

that aint a bad scoot for £700... if you can get it for that I would, as for the front shock, you could get a standard shock for about 30 squids and stick it on no problems, shouldn't take more than 1 hour (if you dont know what your doing)

get it... them 200s are getting more and more difficult to find these days.

just had another look and the front mudguard looks a bit ropey so you may need to change it and also the pipe could be a bit on the dodgy side. Its all doable for not alot of bucks but it may also be more rusty if the mudguard is anything to go by. its a bit of a gamble if you cant look at the bike or ask the seller more questions before hand, is it worth taking a punt for 650 mmmmm could be.
