How about one for the air with inflatable bags similar to those waitresses.
It would be a Hooterscooter. |

There's actually promotional videos from Lambretta in the late 50's of a guy riding a series 1 or a series 2 ON A RIVER. He pulls up to it on land, unfolds out some pontoons or something, and it goes naval ...using the rear wheel to SLOWLY paddle him across whatever body of water he couldn't be bothered with driving around. Maybe someone can dig it up.
IIRC, i think it had an exhaust that pointed more upwards. That's the rub - you could probably submerge the bottom 8" of your scooter ... but it can't be higher than the level of your exhaust ( unless you extended it upwards to a higher point ). The next most crucial area would likely be your flywheel, where you'd lose any spark if water got on your points and stopped them sparkin. |

I call shenanigans.
That couldn't ever possibly happen, it would be silly and unsafe. Plus Jess doesn't need another project, and the Channel has already been crossed on a Vespa. Where can I get one? Don't have one of those yet... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-360666703863180511 |
