Get a decent 2T / 2 stroke oil. In my kitted PX I use Amsoil Dominator synthetic.

Opinions on 2T oil vary greatly... so you're bound to get a ton of opinions.

If you're changing out the rear gear box oil - look for the cheapest non-detergent 30 weight oil you can find. It's not as picky if you change it often.

i use synthetic 2t, amsoil interceptor. as long as it's 2t and is designed for motorcycles, it doesn't really matter. i just use ams because all of the gas stations here have it.

The kind of oil that uses the SEARCH function first...

Any semi-synthetic or full-synthetic oil is absolutely just fine to use. If you have a super tuned machine (which I'm guessing you don't) then you should start worrying about the fancy oils. Heck, even the regular dino 2T oil will work just fine in a pinch. (not that it wouldn't work just fine all the time, but the syn and semi-syn are better for the long-term life of the engine) You don't have to spend $12 a liter if you don't want to!

Mobil fully synthetic 2T oil. Cost-efficient and seems very clean.

That's kind of like any car/motorcycle/scooter/any other machine's owner's manual telling you to "use only the most highest premium super-expensive oils or else we can't be liable if you blow up your vehicle ha ha ha"
Piaggio also recommends only using Selenia brand 2T oil. Does anyone here actually use that? How many shops actually carry that?
