What is the largest size for a picture that I can post on the site? All of my pics get kicked off.

go to tinypic.com and upload the picture and then it will give you options on what kind of link to put into the thread. Good luck

200 KB for jpg's. Click on "allowed extensions and sizes" on the "add and attachment" heading when you are writing a post.

My HP printers came with imaging software, and one no-brain feature is to resize an image for e-mail or Web. I just select the button, and it's done. Maybe that's an option on some of your software.

If you looked at the instructions for posting it says the max pic is 800x800 pixels. You don't need anything but MS Paint to resize your pictures. That is what I have done is open the picture in paint, select the [Image] menu then the "Stretch & Skew". Then in that window I change the stretch to around 43 to 45 percent on both Horizontal and Vertical and it comes out to be just about right with most pictures. Laughing emoticon I then do a check, by putting your cursor in the lower right corner of the pic and see the pixel count in the bottom status bar. Once you get your picture small enough then do a "save as" so you don't mess up your original picture. I then put all the pictures I am going to use into a folder for that post.
I hope this helps you get your pictures posted, because we all like to see the pictures and each one saves you about a thousand words.. Razz emoticon

I use Irfanview, brilliant bit of software and free for personal use. It can do batch re-sizing, and produce complete web-pages with a couple of key-strokes. I tend to make pictures 576 pixels on the longest side, this makes them still large enough to view, but small enough it shouldn't cause anyone any 'scrolling' problems on forums like this.
