Yesterday, I put the Termoscud blanket on the GT. I didn't wanna do it, but it was getting pretty cold mornings and evenings on my commute.

Huge difference in comfort. Toasty legs, smiling, not gritting, face.

Now I'm ready to ride through the (albeit mild) Northern California Winter.

I live just a little south of you and I was talking to my wife about throwing it on but I think we are going to hold off a little longer since it is going to be a high of 90 degrees this Friday and Saturday.

After some 34 to 36 degree days of commuting on just dress slacks, it was time to put mine on. I got it specifically for UT and never missed one in SoCal. The hardest part of the install was that I had to not only wash, but also wax the scooter. Waxing it was a first for me and I hope it lasts a while.

Today, with only a 50% chance of rain, a blue sky, and a balmy 54 degrees, I rode it for the first time. It, and the tall windscreen, made for a cozy and comfy ride. My commute now is only 11 minutes, so I only get the hot radiator air toward the end of the ride, but it sure beats long undies, which I wore in SoCal's "winters".

Still have to get used to the restricted access to cargo hook and glove box, though, which is a daily requirement. Time to install a HomeLink transmitter.

Took the blankie off this morning in the face of 70+ degree weather. Only took about 2 minutes.

Ahh, a few more warm days to enjoy!

Interesting, ... I have been reading this forum for several months and managed to miss this topic completely. I don't know if I will get one for my riding here in South Carolina, but it is nice to know that a product like this exists. I had been wondering how some of the people on this forum could possible ride in the temperatures they were discussing. Thanks!

California has winter? I'm from New England so the months between November and April here in Seattle barely qualify as winter. Buck up and just ride!

I'm glad I waited to put the ThermScud on. Pennsylvania's temps bounce from Canadian winds to Texas winds within a day. The rain pants and my waterproof mittens have been great so far.

I have a 27 inch inseam, hence it is impossible to get rain pants that fit. They all make me look like a saggy elephant with stumpy legs. I swear my black Vespa looks great with my black scud.

These things look nice. I went to the wheelup website and noticed that there are different styles. They seem to have different r numbers. Question is what one do i get for the gt200?

By hooks, straps, and screws. Sometimes a little velcro, depending on the particular scoot. On the GT, the 'Scud attaches using the screws on the knee-cover plates, then with 4 straps that attach under the frame. On the LX, the 'Scud is attached using the turn signal screws, then a fat velcro strap across the top and two straps hooked under the frame.

I don't know Tucano makes a 'Scud for the Fly (probably).

Already have enough lap blankets,
but would be interested in a pair of those bear paw hand covers

I love the lap apron I just got... but the weather is being annoyingly schitzo. Highs barely above freezing one day, and then 70 or more the next (or even that much variation in the same day). I grew up in central Texas where the weather can change pretty quickly, but this is rediculous.
