I just bought a Piaggio top case for my GTS on eBay...the mounting hardware was included but it's not really clear to me how it mounts. I guess I could try the trial and error method or drive over to the dealer and see how they're mounted but I'm into immediate gratification. If anyone has any pics of how it's done, or if it's been posted before please let me know.
Of course, it's also possible that the seller didn't include all of the mounting hardware which might be the cause of my confusion.

The best idea is to get a peek at your local dealer, the instructions are a little sketchy compliments of the Italian to English translation.

If you bought it from me on Ebay all parts are there. Regardless if you need a little help call one of my technicians Tuesday-Sunday.

Cheers,

I thought I had some pictures from installing mine, but, alas, there are none. I'll do my best to describe what to do.

Remove the black plastic bumpers from the rack, as well as the two chrome buttons from the bosses in the last bar of the rack.

The two-piece black plastic bracket clamps the rack in the down position, using three short screws.

The hook on the underside, toward the rear of the case, hooks to the last bar of the rack.

Two long screws go through the front holes in the case and the bracket clamp and are retained by square nuts and nyloc nuts.

Two short screws go through the back holes in the case, threading into the holes in the top of the last bar of the rack (where you pulled the chrome buttons out).

Hope this helps.

Check out the Tech Library for a way to re-key the lock to your ignition key, thus needing only one key for your scoot.

Thanks...that seems to account for all the parts that were sent with the top case. I'll try it out tomorrow.
