Linda's (Wicked Bastard) 60 mile walk for The Cure.

To all fellow scooterists who might find themselves in the San Diego area this Sunday November 23rd. You are invited to join in celebrating the end of my wife's long journey to help raise funds and awareness in the fight to cure breast cancer. She will walk 60 miles this weekend along with several thousand of her fellow fund raisers ending in a celebration and victory walk at the closing ceremonies at Petco Park. Her journey began with a 7000 mile scooter ride across country in the company of her dear friend Karen and this final ceremony will mark the end of months of hard work and determination. The event is free and scooters representing would be most appropriate. Below is all the information you should need, but feel free to call our home at 760-249-9922 if you need anything else. Sunday, November 23rd Schedule:
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Walkers arrive at Holding Area
3:30 pm: Spectators arrive and should head directly to the stage
4:00 pm: Participants begin lining up for victory walk
4:30 pm: Closing Ceremonies begin
Driving Directions:
Petco Park is the heart of downtown San Diego, at 100 Park Blvd.
If you are traveling from the North, take Interstate 5S, exit Imperial Ave. West, proceed on Imperial Ave. towards the stadium. You can also take Interstate 5S, exit 10th Ave., proceed on 10th directly toward the stadium. If traveling on 163S, exit 10th Ave., proceed on 10th directly toward the stadium. If you are traveling from the East, take 94 freeway West to F Street. Turn Left onto 14th Ave., proceed directly toward the stadium. Petco Preferred Parking Lots are at 10th and J St., Imperial and K St, and 6th and K St.
If you are traveling from the South, take Interstate 5 N, exit J Street. Proceed on J Street directly toward the stadium. Petco Preferred Parking Lots are at 10th and J St., Imperial and K St, and 6th and K St.
