I have another problem with my computer and just wondered if you would be happy to help again. When I try to start up it opens in safe mode than cuts out. Jenny had a look and seemed to think it might be something to do with the fan - a problem which has happened before.

Obviously I can't contact you via my home email but am here today until 3.00 and tomorrow as well

Maybe Bob is upset that his scooter was called a moped?

Sorry I didn't explain it better, it was just the moped reference while buttering me up to fix her computer for her. I guess it's pretty trivial.
You'll just have to pretend to laugh to keep me happy.

The uninitiated will always manage to offend. Ped, scoot, bike what ever... remember when "Scooter Trash" was a bad term? R

I've seriously thought about buying that embroidered patch that says "It's not a damn moped!"

Mini pet-peeve of mine for some reason. Mopeds are great. They're neat looking, and they've got their own niche. But my Vespa does not have pedals.

To keep us all rolling in the aisles, where's the daily joke???

Yesterday from a 10 year old girl-"Nice scooter slash motorcycle type thing.", I almost busted up laughing.

Easy answer...it's a moped

The saddest thing about that statement:

It applies in the other direction( ie computer savvy/expertise) as well.. That email was just wrong on so many levels. Yah sure, butter me up, so I can spend hours for free on your box because you got a trojan from some Russian malware site. Obviously, he usually gets paid for computer expertise already, they'd prolly pay paid for fixing a their car if that was the problem but "a computer is so small can't be hard." Doesn't really matter whether "Maree" is a an acquaintance, his Grandmother or a girl he's been wanting to bone since he was 12. The message is the same, please do this for free.
