I'm new here and I need some help...
I now have the means (thanks, Boss) and the permission (thanks wifey, aka REAL Boss) to purchase a vintage vespa and sidecar I've been obsessed with for so long.
Now I need to find "the one."
Can you give me advice about where to find "the one?"
Or tell me who can help me find "the one."
Morpheus? Are you out there??? Oracle???
I almost bought an asian bondo bike!!!
Don't let me!!!!
Anyone know Phil from Pride of Cleveland Scooters??? any vouchers? haters?
And do I really need to travel to cleveland to find a pristine, fully restored, buttery colored, brown-dual-saddle-seated with real leather, fat 10 inch whitewalled handlebar vintage vespa with Cozy bullet sidecar (without chrome strips on the hood) with matching paint that's been modified to have the spare on the sidecar next to the customized headlamp on the sidecar fender with the awesome front fender headlamp on the scooter and wicked brand new electric-startin' monster engine so I CAN (but won't) go really fast if I want to on the way to the ice-cream parlor on Sunday's this summer with my kid and her dog in the sidecar.... (Deep lifesaving INHALE)....???
Any advice would be very welcome.
I'm willing to part with up to 10 grand for the above dream-machine.
Thanks much for ANY advice!

Hello!
I saw one in scoot.net, really nice. I think they're asking around $6K. Located in Mississipi.

Pride of Cleveland has been around a while, I think Phil rode a Genuine Buddy (pink!) around Lake Erie last year. I have been in his shop a couple, three times. I don't know much about his restoration trade but he does have a reputation to maintain. And he does love scooters. As an aside; a side car setup is Very Different (!) than a scooter. A second consiteration might be a Stella with a sidecar, I guess any Genuine dealer could set you up with that unit. Best of luck on your pursuit, R
