Secondly, where are they available? My location is cali.

thirdly....has anyone made a diy? for the j costa install on the 250?!?!

The J Costa will not decrease your top end. That's the great thing about it.. you get the increased accleration without the risk. We are the sole authorized J Costa retailer in North America. Please visit our store at the web address below. As far as a DIY on variator installs, do a quick search on this forum or go to the Project Reports section. Good luck!

Did Piaggio sponsor you when you went out and bought one of the more expensive scooters out on the market? Laughing emoticon

You gotta pay to play, 270 shipped to your front door isn't all that bad.

So I looked for an how to but can't find anything, even the service manuals that used to be here are gone

Does anyone have any good links to a variator install on the Quasar? I'd like to see what I'm getting into before I ruin a perfectly good expensive scooter! I'm especially looking for torque specs for when I try to put everything back in...

Too bad you're so far away. I did all my mods without any instructions..But, I'm used to working on things. Having to install things in a matter of seconds, tends to help your mechanical aptitude, LOL.

Anyhoo, you'll get it. A variator defintely helps.
