Plus 'collide a scope' do a cracking job, 'cept my last scooter was DOA, after the old dude hit me. Just after 'collide a scope' had fixed her wonderfully. But the upside was I got the Green GT Coggo |

I'll be checking this, too. I absolutely loved the short time that I spent in Australia. Been to Sydney, Perth, and Freemantle. I've been to many cities in both the States and all around the pacific and I must say that Sydney is deffinantly the most beautiful.

Good news Coggo, Monica is back!!! She has stripes now too. This weekend i will get that tag, then i shall find something difficult and obscure for you. I will also get some photos of the stripes and post in the gallery.
Cheers, Brad |

OK, here goes: Got the matchsticks, after i figured out how to get there. That is a pedestrian path, is it not?? People did look strangely- I just smiled and said gday!
For your next puzzle, since everyone has been saying how nice Sydney is, I thought I'd seek out a more prosaic piece of infrastructure. Hint: near the wall of wheels... The stripes were inspired by Sallad, though of course i changed a few things. When I have more photos I'll do a full post on the Projects forum. Cheers, The sticks, with a bit more Art Gallery behind. I like that Japanese Lantern bit.
I have more clues if you're flummoxed!

Was looking at photos...
Hey Coggo, I was looking through photos in the photo gallery and saw a person name Remo who took some cool shots of their scoot in your city so I told them to look up the scooter tag thread. Maybe you'll get a new player?

Just received a PM to get in on the Scooter-Tag action. (cheers for the heads up SIC) Looks like fun so I'll chase down the next pic when I can. My fiance and I moved to Sydney from Brisvegas not too long ago, so we're still learning the City. No better way than to explore than on a Vespa though.

One more...
Glad to see you all have a new addition. Have fun exploring your new city Remo. Welcome to scooter tag, Sydney style!
Here's an idea I did here ... I got a group of our scooter tag people together and we all did a ride together. Met at a coffee house did a ride to pizza place in another town then another ride back home. It was about a 60 mile trip overall. Just a thought, maybe Coggo could arrange something??? |

well I did see the 'wall of wheels', I was thinking velodrome with that clue.
The clue is 'slippery nipple' - real ones!
not quite the correct angle

Hi Guys, sorry Monica has been back at Collide-a-Scope getting some defects fixed (Silly stuff- like they put the shopping bag hook on upside down! I didn't know that was possible). Nonetheless, I believe I can see this one from my balcony. This, then, is a perfectly valid excuse for me to take the long way home...
Pity I can't get Monica parked in front of this view, actually. She's not good with stairs! |

Bummer that your scooter is in for repair again, I rang collide-a-scope a couple of days ago, and heard some hammering! I hope they were gentle
Clever pic BTW Coggo |

OK, its a race now between Coggo and Remo. As a clue: Daniel Solander accompanied Sir Joseph Banks on Captain James Cook's first voyage to the Pacific aboard the Endeavour... Note, on a weekend you will need to pay $7 to the nice man with a beard at the gate.
Got it! Couldn't quite frame the shot to avoid that awful Nissan Pintara though
A lovely spot. The shot is carefully framed to avoid a piece of infrastructure under construction that we shouldn't really need yet (its behind the top box)

Just got home and went straight the laptop to upload the photo only to find I've been beaten to it.
I'm off to the Sunshine Coast for a week but will have a crack at the next tag when I return. Looks like an awesome place to take a ride. |

I finally got around to taking the ride out to get the latest tag. Not an area of Sydney that I've ever made it to before, and I have to say it was well worth the trek.
Perfect weather for a long scoot around the coast line so thanks for the excuse to go exploring. On the way there I decided to snap the tag from two rounds ago as well. I'll be sure to post the next challenge sometime tomorrow. Coastal breeze and clear view.
Quick detour to grab a previously missed tag.

Got it!! The hole seems to have gone though- so i couldn't get the angle right. The troll is cute though...
For the next one, i took a lovely sunday ride (and it was a glorious day). Its not too far from town, and there is always an ice-cream van or three if you feel inclined! The hole is gone, but the troll lives on
The loveliest day

Awesome ride...the wife and I had never explored that part of the city before.
This time of year is just the right climate for coastal cruises. |

Here's a clue:
This is a rare laneway in Sydney where despite still being illegal, street art is not just condoned, but somewhat encouraged. These walls are constantly evolving and may not look exactly the same when you find them. |

Well done you two for keeping this tag running Coggo |

Might have to join in, if it's ok with you guys...new phone with a 5 Mpixel camera in it.
Is there a boundary to "Sydney"?? I only ask as I live SW and work in the city...and have NO clue to where that laneway is |

Welcome to the game. I don't believe there are any formal boundaries to the city, I think it's more about tracking down a place with some character that's a bit iconic of the area.
As for the current tag, some consider this lane may be more of a gallery than just a road. It's quite infamous in the street art scene. |
