No excuse for passing this one up as it's about 200 metres from home.

I'm all for a bit of "street art", but this place is an example of what happens when a piece of history is neglected and unguarded.

Old Tram Shed at the back of Harold Park Greyhounds, Glebe.

I found it!

but Phat Vespa couldnt fit through the crack in the locked doors.

I squeezed in though...

and found some kids doing a fashion shoot. It really is an amazing location. Thanks Remo, That was a classic.

Well done Pete. Glad you could get into the building. It's often locked up tight.
I was back there last week using the shed as a backdrop for some photos of my MINI Cooper and the cleaner / security guard / fun police, asked me to leave and locked the gate behind me.

I rode from Balmain around to Callan Park today and couldn't find it! Still, it was a lovely afternoon for it.

I got a few Italian Stickers at the Italian Day at Homebush Bay but this is the only one I ended up putting on the scooter. The PhatVespa sticker on top is one of the stickers made by Dozer. Im unsure of putting stickers over the clean lines of the scooter. Its a bit like a tattoo. Like the idea but never found a suitable design.

Sometimes people try to offend me by saying that the Vespa is not a serious motorcycle, and I tend to agree. For my wife and I it's our weekend, inner-city toy and we love it.

Need a clue?
Both these little italian scooters were born of the same era.

Got it, as soon as I realised where I'd see it before- in the real estate pages! This one was billed as "Sydney's finest warehouse conversion", so yes, it's now a block of flats.

snap

You can see the bridge from here too, but I'm bored with that now. So lets have some more blocks of flats!

Fluffy, think it's time for a clue.
Looks familiar but I can't pick where it is.
Inner west somewhere.?.

Further in than inner west... There are a whole bunch of shiny new overpriced waterfront apartments here, and a couple of media companies (the logo on top of the brick building in the background might seem more apparent in light of this clue)

I reckon its either Balmain or Pyrmont. Just havn't had time to go looking yet.

After the clue it all made sense, so I made my way down to Pyrmont reasonably early, snapped a pic and as I was leaving I saw Pete on his way down. Stopped for a quick chat and a photo of what could be the first, non-planned simultaneous scooter tag?
