So, occasionally, I might have to move my GT a little bit before it's engine's warmed up (say, 20 seconds after starting her up). When I do this and give it a little gas (and I mean little, just enough to roll forward at like, 5mph), I sometimes hear this weird noise coming from the engine.

"schwoop!"

It's a rising noise. Starts off kinda low, and then gets higher towards the "oop!" part in both pitch and volume. Hard to tell what the sound is, might be a beep but I wouldn't imagine anything from the GT would beep (aside from the horn )

Thoughts? I seriously only hear this when she's cold.

I have to get one of those! ROFL emoticon

Now, technically speaking, it's not a pet per se, it's an employee? Right? So it should be perfectly fine to have it stay in the bucket. Right?

I am not certain of your noise, and not to highjack your thread O.Z., but I hear an interesting noise when I use my front brake (the left hand one). It is something like a very low chatter.

I have to wonder if it may be an ABS system functioning?

Maybe it's just the holes in the disk.

If it's a really fast clickclickclick that's the air passing through the holes in your disc brakes.

I don't think any of the vespas out there have ABS?

None of the US ones, but European GTSs have ABS as an option.

This is, as Oz says, the sound that drilled disc brakes make. They all make that noise, it's perfectly normal.
