My cat Mozu's excellent adventure (as we visited three hotels in Portland during October and November, while my house was repaired following a plumbing flood). As you can see, he's a cosmopolitan traveler. (Note the red Stella bag, lower right.)

No pics right now. No ill meant to the kitties since we have 3 ourselves, but those pups are beauts!
Our 15-yr-old schnoodle isn't going to be with us much longer, I'm sad to say. We had her (Lulu) to the vet's last Tuesday, and he was not very encouraging. He increased the dosage on her heart medicine and advised us to be prepared. Lulu awoke us with her crying 4 times overnight, so we'll be savoring each moment left with her that God allows. |

Here's Bailey, trying to get his jaws around a ball. I went to my sister's on Christmas Day and she has two cats, my niece's cat was also around. The youngest cats were out but Socks was on the kitchen table and eventually dropped down to the floor. Bailey, tail wagging, went to play with her but she swiped a paw, hissed and shot upstairs. My Bailey is a very curious dog.

Norm (foreground) is a 14-year-old Grumpy Old Man and has a bra fetish. Pinky (background, age 7), despite her cuteness is a real badass. They are currently living with Sasha and Avery, my roommate's two black cats, all in a small two-bedroom apartment. Hours of fun! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

This is Camilla.
She is our Short legged, long nose, razorback fighting dog - at least that's what the guy at the Pet Shop told us. I'm gettin' a little suspicious though - she won't come when I call her and she doesn't like riding in the car. ![]() |

very relaxed characters, both from great dane rescues also. I can't believe people could get rid of such great animals.

All of our pets are from rescue too. Rooke, our chocolate lab who died this year was AKC, professionally trained, including how to poop on command (I kid you not) was an awesome dog. His owner moved from Texas to California, had to move into an apartment, and Rooke just wasn't an apartment dog. I'm sure he was sad to give him up, but we were the richer for it.
Kenny was moving towards being put down three times at one shelter, but volunteers kept taking him as fosters to keep him from being euthanized. He's a boxer/shepherd mix, and is goofy and energetic, and has a very funny personality. Rylie (Corgi/heeler mix) belonged to an employee whose wife wanted a Rat Terrier pup. When they got the Rat Terrier and Rylie got irritated by it, the wife told her husband to take Rylie to the pound. He brought her to work so he could make it to the pound right after work, but happily I saw Rylie at the office and brought her home. She gets along fine with all of our other animals, except the coyotes in the neighborhood. She's had two run-ins with them, but just gets stitched up and keeps on going. Our cat was a stray who made herself at home in an auto-body shop. The guys in the shop fed her for a while, and then turned her into a rescue group. |

Both of my cats were strays. Norm's from Oakland and Pinky's from Piedmont, which may explain their personalities.

It's the dry food that makes them gain weight! Despite all the hoopla about how much healthier it is, the dry food is not properly balanced for their little carnivore systems, which have not evolved to digest carbohydrates (Apologies to Salima) |
