This really was a tough contest. There were so many good entries that picking just one was really difficult. In the end, we added additional prizes to recognize the many talented entries that made it through the voting process.
The Prize
It wouldn't be a contest without a prize, and we've got that covered thanks to the generous support of New Enough. New Enough has a wonderful program that allows its customers to designate a user group to receive donations with every purchase, at New Enough's expense. The user groups (that's us!) are then able to redeem their account balance for merchandise or gift certificates in promotions and contests. When you make a purchase at New Enough, be sure to choose Modern Vespa as the group to donate to during the checkout process. It won't affect your purchase price, and we'll be able to continue having contests like this one.

The Modern Vespa Staff Pick
Just as there's a wide difference of opinion within the community over which design people want sewn on their jackets, the moderators had some trouble coming up with a definitive single winner. After repeated bribe vote counts, much discussion, several cases of tequila, and a lame attempt at an instant runoff vote among the moderators, we have a result.

The Tyrant Award
I abstained from the voting in the Modern Vespa Staff Pick in order not to influence the results too much, but I had strong feelings about a couple of the designs. Most of the designs I really liked ended up winning a prize, so I'm going to bestow the Tyrant Award to the one design that I really like that didn't get the attention I thought it deserved. Plus, I want to reward the artist for having the balls to include a vintage Vespa headset in a Modern Vespa design contest.
