A little 2004 ET4 stripped for cleaning etc. First time I've hauled out an engine!

Ah a new project... very interesting.

Post the strip, you wouldn't conside new paint at all? That silver is the most boring colour the ET4 comes in. The police ride silver ETs now.... paint it orange.

i know you hate orange doug but i had a thought while i was out running - if you're going to do the tranny cover in an anthracite flake, why not paint the mirrors to match?

Mmm okay you hate orange but anything but that bloody boring silver.

Italian racing blue, that's nice.

i've always fancied dark olive green with a gold flake.

It's not getting paint at the moment. Maybe sometime in the future. It will be so well copper slipped, it'll come apart dead easy!

If it gets paint in future, it will either be Cobalt blue or Burnt Orange. It needs a few new parts for paint, such as the legshield trim and the floorboard. Everything else is pretty much in fine shape, including an amazingly rust-free body.

silver's not boring, it's classy.

Well probably cost about £1000 all in. Ebay purchases were useful - a top box, mirrors, LX seat, a Sito exhaust, a new carb, plug, belt, rollers, clutch, brake linings, euro twin-halogen light, chrome horncast and that's it I think! Just needs taxed and tested next month....

Doug it looks brilliant. Well done that man. I've got my evil eyes on it.

The last I saw the envelope of stickers Alice had it on the Ferry.

PS The only reason that I've ordered a white Ka is because it matches my last remaining Donkei Skok sticker.

Bill you need to behave. Thanks for the compliments. It has been a bit of labour of love. None of that horrible shaking and vibrating any more. Not had her on the road yet!
